I took both my mattress and box spring off the frame for probably the first time since I got the bed. :} I've taken just the mattress off to flip it before, but not the box spring. Did a little vacuuming under the bed as it's never really done and the dust accumulation was gross ( Read more... ) -
J-Town Flood, 2008 Edition
Well, there was a pretty substantial rain storm yesterday. I live in a basement apartment, and water came in. So parts of my floor are damp. It's not terrible, but definitely not convenient. Well, I was hoping to post this evening, but ran out of time. We had our first snow of the season today. It snowed on May 12, so we didn't even get a six month break from snow. Ahh well.. What can ya do?

Yikes. :( I guess these economic challenges have really started to have a global impact. "National bankruptcy" is not something you want to hear... Hopefully it works out for Iceland somehow.

I passed. Technically, I got a 29/30. I "missed" the 10th question, but the answer I picked is correct as well, unless I'm really misreading it.

So, who here is worried about the economy? I guess I'm not worried about it because there's not a lot I can do. I do wonder, though, if we might end up repeating history. Hopefully not. I would rather not live to see WW3. WW2 was bad enough, but our capacity to destroy has grown considerably since Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
