Breaking radio silence while I have computer access briefly for a quick question! I NEED YOU, FLIST, YOU ARE MY ONLY HOPE.

I am signed up for spn_meanttobe, which is that fic challenge where you pick a hilarious prompt that is an actual romance novel jacket summary and then turn it into a SPN or J2 fic (with a happy ending!). My prompt is:

still, our favorite part is that Dean pointedly tries not to think about how Jared kinda looks like Sam if Sam ever had stubble or wore v-necks :)))))

Sam never has stubble. Never. It itches, okay? And then he breaks his wrist and it causes ~problems~ in that department and he looks quite scruffy for a while and there is a SUDDEN RESEMBLANCE in Dean's mind. There may or may not be one or two ~incidents~ where Dean's reflexive body memory nearly carries him away and he almost does something inappropriate to Sam. Dean is helplessly reminded of Jared, that guy he banged, and it makes him super twitchy for reasons he won't quite think consciously about.
