New things are new! Layouts and a new fic.

Soooo, after a year gogo finally got around to updating the old LJ layout. Seriously, it had been a whole year. Longer, actually. The new layout primarily features Dante and Vergil, in one of gogo's all time fave images of them, by the incredibly talented Jo-Chen. The artwork is hers. Sankyuu! Sometimes it's like "holy shit, it's been a whole year?" but am definitely not complaining. Time flies when you're having fun and all that good stuff.

gogo keeps meaning to go back through gogo and gogod's saved docs to count how many words (more or less) and how many pages (more or less) we've written over the past year. Considering that our average log is about 8 to 10 pages, and our fics range from 4 typed pages to 14... LOL. That's a lot of writing!

Anyhoo, thank you for the sentiment and the nice words. Hopefully, by this time next year, we'll have TAKEN OVER THE WORLD!!! Or at least have written a whole lot more.

Totally wanted to take a picture to express my rove, but I can't find a camera. ANYWAY.

I think it was about the 23rd of June (or May. Probably May. You know how bad I am with these things) that we first started talking.

"COME BE MY RENJI."

And even though I hadn't RP'd in years, nor had I ever written Renji, I still went after him so I could write with you. You've always been someone that I could just click with immediately. It was never forced conversation and it never felt awkward. It was like it was meant to be. When we started writing together, I was amazed at how fun it was and how well our styles just flowed together.

Like fate had been waiting to get us together for a very long time.

You know you're my best friend ever, in the literal sense of those words; not "OMG BFF". You're more of a friend than my other friends have been. Here's to us taking over the world writing and being friends for many, many, many years to come.

Oooooh. Thank you. Thank you so so very much. You have no idea how much these words mean to me. I got all teary and choked up like the mushy (lol, Mushi?) dork that I am after reading this for the first, second, and even third time. Not 100% sure what day we FIRST got on YIM, but gogo's got emails saved from late June--including plots and such for Bya and Shiro. Our first ship. And still one of the best ( ... )
