New things are new! Layouts and a new fic.
Soooo, after a year gogo finally got around to updating the old LJ layout. Seriously, it had been a whole year. Longer, actually. The new layout primarily features Dante and Vergil, in one of gogo's all time fave images of them, by the incredibly talented Jo-Chen. The artwork is hers. Gogo simply added the Latin, care of Virgil, and the translation

Yeah, things clicked for us right away. I already really liked you--via your writing--and your witty comments and responses. You seemed to be enjoying the world of LJ, Bleach fandom, fanfics and all that and didn't take make it SRYS FUCKN BIZNISS. gogo just had a hunch, and--as you know by now--MY HUNCHES ARE USUALLY CORRECT. Usually... ;)
You know I believe in Fate. And I do believe we were fated to meet and get together creatively. Becoming best friends was just...well...again, a stroke of fate. Have never had a friend like you before, and don't expect to ever again. Have had good friends, and best friends, before--but never someone who was an ideal creative partner as well. If we never started writing together like this, DMC would still be just a video game, and Dante would still be some white-haired guy with a badass sword and cool coat. gogo would have eventually gotten bored with LJ, Bleach, fanfic, etc., but writing with you made it more than a passing hobby. You made writing be fun and be real.
You've changed my life. I know that sounds kinda WHAO for a comment on LJ, but it's true. And I'm not simply referring to fandoms, characters, and series you've introduced gogo to.
YOU ARE MY CREATIVE SPARK. Had never been able to come up with a good PLOT for a novel or novella before, let alone create a true OC (versions of gogo and various personages in gogo's life obviously do not count as OC's). You are the key that opened up a whole other part of my brain. 'Course, it does help that we work so well together. SO well. As writers and as a creative team (do not want to tempt fate and have some kamikaze sea gull snatch the muses from mai head and shit, so...knock on wood, fingers crossed, touch-black-no-touch-backs, etc).
From BB to HB to fanfics to cross-fandoms to OC's to MOAR OC's (and lots and lots of pron in between) to us taking over the world writing and being best friends forever. Can't imagine my life without you. And certainly don't want to. Cheers to us~ I lOVE YOU.
