[Despite the fact that it's absolutely storming outside, there is a table sitting in front of Community Building 7. Someone has even been considerate enough to prop up a beach umbrella so that the stuff on the table doesn't get wet. On this table are various miscellaneous things, anything ranging to girl-clothing to a squirtgun, mostly items that

[Cecil doesn't normally stop for kids doing kid-things. But really, those are a lot of items to be getting rid of. Has he been here long enough to have grown out of this many toys? And the clothes are so small -- not that Cecil would be one to judge the fashion decisions of other cultures, after all. Whatever the reason, it seems this child has a story worth hearing. Pardon the big black armor. He's much less scary than he ought to be.]

[IT IS THE HONORABLE DRESS OF RESPECTED KNIGHTS. Sure they were respected because of all the throat-slitting that happened if they were treated otherwise, but that was a long time ago! He's reformed. It's all good.]

I fear that I'm not acquainted with any people quite young enough to enjoy such items... Were they yours?

...hmm. Part of them were mine, but mostly they belonged to my sister and a friend of mine. They don't need them anymore.

[... A stormy afternoon.

At first, Raine thought she could simply wait the worst of it out at the school. Of course, it didn't exactly seem like it was getting any better... and there were important matters she wanted to look into. Fear versus that sense ... eventually, the latter wins out, and out of the school she goes, eventually arriving on the path between the community building and her house.

... What a suspicious sight. Clearly, it warrants more investigating. Even in this weather.]

[Doot doot doot, here Raine, see a little goggle-head carrying one of his last boxes out of the building and over to the table, not quite registering that she's even nearby. He's just going to start unpacking the box and arranging items on the table again. Occasionally he adds things to his small pile by the steps to the building, but most of it's going on the table.]

[Yeah, this definitely wasn't one of his best ideas. Arranging, arranging, and soon he feels something hovering over him. This...cannot be good. He turns slightly and looks over his shoulder at Raine, giving her a slightly awkward grin. Hello there teacher. Sorry I ditched school today.]

Kind of a coincidence. Me too. [He gestures to the table of junk though.] See anything you like?

[Terra doesn't go outside, not especially fond of weather this extreme, but she does notice the items left out there. Curious, she spots the boy during one of his trips. Heading down the hall, she waves a little.]

[Heyyy. Taichi just blinks at her carefully and balances his box he's holding to wave back. Nope, no need to be suspicious here!] Nah, I think I got it. This should be the last of it...but maybe you could get the door for me so I can get this outside?

[She nods and heads over to do just that.]

You're moving, then?

Yeah. I figured since I didn't need a big apartment anymore, I could move out and let somebody else have it. With all of the new feathers that are coming in, there's bound to be a big group that need to share, right? [He nods in thanks though once that door's open, darting out quickly to put away the box before returning because while he's usually kind of rude when he's focused, he's not going to turn away human interaction at the moment.] I thought it made the most sense.

[Lambda was just looking for some shelter from the rain when he spots the umbrella. Convenient. Without bothering to consider it might belong to someone, he moves as close to the table as he can to seek out refuge. He really hates getting wet. After a few minutes, his gaze strays to the items on the table. ... Toys?]

[Well it is quite a large umbrella, so it's helpful. Taichi comes back out with another box before he spots someone under his umbrella and near his table of stuff, so he approaches rather quickly to get under the umbrella too.]

[Lambda looks up to give Taichi a blank stare, before nodding curtly. It's kind of hard to miss that it's wet out here, but people do love their random, casual conversation.]
