Is it Bedtime yet?

I made plans to get together with my sister in laws today at the park. I had to laugh at the fact that Heather suzanne, Laura, and I had all seven kids and ourselves bundled up tight in winter jackets and multiple layers for the 56 degree weather. However Heidi, who is visiting from Ohio, Wore a knee length skirt and short sleeved blouse. I had to ( Read more... )

I keep giving him a chance to respond correctly but so far it hasn't happened. I have felt calmer about it. I guess anger can't last forever but I still do feel lonely at not really having my friend anymore. I guess I could make that plural and include my husband too in that thought. The advice that everyone is giving me is the same that I would give to someone else so I honestly don't know why I haven't left yet. I do know this though. I keep praying about it and praying for him and I don't feel like I have been given the ok yet by God. I try to never move or take a step without God's approval. I mean I'm not perfect. But on the big things like this I wait till I get my answer. I have been focusing a lot of my prayers on if I should separate to give him time to think without Shayne and I with him. I might wait bc Pretty soon he is going to Columbia for two weeks to work. If i choose I can always just shut my phone off and let him think . Then bring it back up when he gets back.

Glad you guys had a good time at the park, even if it was cold and had to vacate when older kids got there!

It must be pretty hurtful that he blows you off when you ask him to work on this issue. It seems like he's trying to mask the situation hoping that you'll forget all about it when he sends you those kinds of messages and acts all lovey. Good for you for not answering back. Maybe he will take you seriously soon. What does he say when you ask HIM to leave? Surely he knows that financially you can't be the one to leave! I think you are doing the right thing by waiting for God's timing. He may be working on your husband and it may take some time, so wait for his answer. You are such a strong woman, stronger than I would be in this situation. I think that I would lose my mind and I wouldn't be so... patient.

He really doesn't say much of anything when I ask him to leave. He tries to change the topic or ignores it. He has been doing alot of ignoing which is just overly frustrating. Lately that is all I feel is frustration. It's not my attitude and I really just don't like it.
