I'm a little disappointed that it's not gonna be a romance drama like it was rumored to be (I really want to see what Ohno would be like in a role like that, lol), but this whole monster thing sounds kind of cracktastic. Once I saw Tokujou Kabachi I was determined not to read any further in case I spoilt myself but for some reason, my eyes just went on and on and on.. xD

"He's not full of fail, which is kind of refreshing. He does fail a little bit though, but just enough to be endearing, haha. Somehow this role feels sort of Bambi-ish to me. Like, if Bambi had decided to go into law, he could've ended up like Tamura, lol. The feeling of a nice guy genuinely doing the best he can, I guess? I really feel like this role suits Sho perfectly."

Nakanai to Kimeta Hi: well, it is basically your typical "bullying" drama. however, there are two things that make it stand out and highly entertaining: Nana and Kaname Jun. <3 they really awesome and I pratically squeed through most of episode 2. :)

Massugu na Otoko: it has Kanjiya Shihori, so of course I had to watch it. I like her and the male lead a lot and it is relativly easy to understand even without subs. however, I cannot stand Kyoko (aka the one who was also in Yattaman). she is annoying me a lot but I can't even say way exactly, maybe it's just because I don't like the actress at all.

so I'd say give them a try and you'll see if you like it or not.

I've seen a few of the posts about being "disgusted" over Ohno's new drama. Someone actually used that word, but then apparently she edited the entry. I'm just happy when they get roles, know what I mean? At this point, I can't really see Ohno in a romantic role, but I would love love love him to do one to change my view! Like see another side of him that I can barely even picture right now.

I haven't seen any of the dramas from this season yet. Need to download Tokujo from stormy as I seem to be patient enough for this one. Haha. Did see the first episode on keyhole though, so I have a general feeling for what went on in that one. Will also eventually watch YamaNade and Bloody Monday 2. I'm a hardsubs girl, and nothing this season has made me feel pressed enough to not wait for them.

Exactly! That's why I wanted it to happen too. But I mean, I wasn't much of an Arashi fan before Maou, but I was talking to someone who said the same kind of thing: no one could imagine it. And yet look at how much he pwned. I think he could take on pretty much any kind of role. But yes, I'm the same way. It's a good thing when they get roles, so why complain just because you might not like the drama? People should at least give it a chance.

Yeah, there is that. Nothing this season is ~amazing~ as far as I can tell. But yeah, since I started studying Japanese, I started getting less picky about my subs, haha. I used to always wait for hardsubs, and even though I still like well-known groups like Stormy the best, I'm usually willing to settle for whatever softsubs as long as they're not too crappy, lol.

Oh gosh, before Maou, I paid very little attention Ohno, sadly. He owned that role! So I'd definitely love to see him become someone we would least expect again. We'll just have to keep crossing our fingers that he'll get a shot at a romantic role in the future.

Yeah. Like, I mean, I wasn't even a big Arashi fan, so even though I knew who he was, I didn't know anything about him except that he was one of the few in JE that can actually sing. XD If I had known then what I know now about him, I would've been shocked to see him in that role! I hope he gets more serious roles in the future~ Cuz I mean, he does the cracky ones well too, lol, but it's almost a waste of his talent, I think.

Aww Kame's cute. I wouldn't say he has the perfect body, but y'know...I adore that boy lol. I'm really enjoying Yamanade. It's kinda dumb but it's light and nice to watch when I'm bored and need a laugh or something.

Also IDK I couldn't get into Tokujou Kabachi. I really tried but I just got really bored. Maybe it picks up a litle bit.

On a side note, I don't understand why so many people are damn horrified about Ohno's new drama. I reminds me of Yattaman and such with the reliance on CGI and nobody complained about that. I mean, I guess it's because it's iconic and such, y'know people get worked up without seeing anything it seems.

If you get through the first episode and don't like it, you probably won't like it. But I recommend at least trying to get that far? Once he gets into his case, it gets more interesting.

People just like to complain or something, idek. Maybe it's a mix of disappointment that it's not a romance drama and the fact that it's about ~monsters~, although hello, did people miss the fact that it's by one of the mangakas that was responsible for Doraemon? Really, I doubt it's gonna suck, you know?
