So I for one haven't really heard people complaining about Ohno's new drama, but apparently they are? I'm a little disappointed that it's not gonna be a romance drama like it was rumored to be (I really want to see what Ohno would be like in a role like that, lol), but this whole monster thing sounds kind of cracktastic. Plus, I mean, as popular as Arashi is right now, and considering the time slot, they're not gonna make it a crappy drama, y/y? So I shall have faith that it'll be awesome, even if it is gonna be monster!Ohno hanging out with Dracula and Frakenstein and such, lol.
But as far as this season goes, I'm finally feeling slightly more caught up. I've watched through episode 3 of YamaNade, and I have to say that I absolutely love it. It's ridiculous to the point where I laugh at the parts that aren't even supposed to be funny, lol. The characters are all a lot of fun, and it has the added bonus of lots of hot guys in it. Yes, even Kame. So I am thoroughly enjoying myself. :D
And I finally started watching Tokujou Kabachi last night. I wasn't sure how I'd feel about it, but as it turns out, I love it. Sho's character, Tamura, is the slightly naive, hardworking types who wants to make everything work out for everyone, even the opponent, and ends up getting himself in trouble because he ends up working for free or going further than he should. But! He's not full of fail, which is kind of refreshing. He does fail a little bit though, but just enough to be endearing, haha. Somehow this role feels sort of Bambi-ish to me. Like, if Bambi had decided to go into law, he could've ended up like Tamura, lol. The feeling of a nice guy genuinely doing the best he can, I guess? I really feel like this role suits Sho perfectly. ♥ It's weird, though, to see that Maki's character is the ~bad guy~, since it's totally different from her normal roles. She's so cold-blooded and mean that I barely recognize her, haha. The drama has a nice bit of manga-esque crack in it, but not so much as to detract from the more serious plot line. I dunno, it just makes me happy to watch it~ I've watched the first two eps so far (sorry Stormy, I'm too impatient and am settling for the lower quality softsubs, lol), and I'm about to watch the third ep, I think. :D
So if there are any other good dramas this season, let me know? I haven't heard anything. I was thinking of watching Massugu na Otoko and/or Nakanai to Kimeta Hi, but I dunno? Opinions?
