Why would I not be so inclined?

Just as everyone makes mistakes, everyone can have their judgement clouded by emotions and other factors.

It is being able to look back in a more rational moment and being able to admit that one was wrong that truly counts.

Nu, don't brood on it. What has happened is done. Instead bear this in consideration for a possibly similar situation in the future that might not be over such a trifling matter and could have actual consequences.
