I agree with everything you said, esp. this:

I have this sneaking feeling you will cheapen it by having him rush through the stages of grief in an effort to throw him into Emma’s arms.

Fuck that. I'll never ship Peter/Emma, not in a million years. I hated all of Peter's canon girls. He's Nathan's. lol.

As friends they are cute, but beyond that it doesn't work. Peter is just too devoted to Nathan.

I love my boys too, and I think if the shows lasts another season Milo won't be coming back, there isn't much more he can do with what they give him.

"SYLAR NEVER TOOK HIS POWER WRITERS, REMEMBER THAT" If I remember correctly, Sylar took Nathan's power during the last episode of season three: we can see Sylar flying in front of the hotel's room windows. Probably with his ability of empathy (wich served hilm to steal Elle's power).
And by the way: WHERE IS MOHINDER (again)!

I didn't think the empathy thing was ever confirmed, but that would make sense. At this point I'm just trying to make sense of whatever I can, you know.
