Ouch. I hope you're not in tons of pain tomorrow. You did a great thing for yourself and that baby, so you deserve to feel good.

Exhausting as it is, I do feel better when I go. Also, I like playing with kids, so it's a pick me up. The leg still hurts, though.

Sorry about your leg. Sounds like something I'd do.

Small and transitory it may be, but stuff like this really matters.

Have I mentioned recently that you're awesome? 'Cuz you are.

My blushes, Beemer. I like to believe it matters. Mostly it keeps me sane, strange as that may sound.

Poor baby...

Hopefully next time will be easier for her (and you). it really is awesom that you do that -- i don't know if I would have been able to hold it together with a screaming baby.

I have too many years of childcare under my belt to get stressed by the screamers. And we do get their mothers if er can't get them calm, but we try to avoid that because their moms are in group therapy during this time and we like to let them have their child-free moments.

My God, you're awesome. Have I mentioned that?

As far as childcare, I subscribe to Roseanne Barr's theory that, if the end of the day, the children are not actually on fire, you've done your job.

I'm not, but thanks for saying it. :)

I know there's nothing permanently damaging I can do, but you know what a perfectionist I can be. If I don't have that child smiling by the end of two hours, I'm a failure! Not really, but there is a bit of that happening, I must admit.
