I really like how the two images are juxtaposed with each other -- the darker first one in contrast with the bright second one. I think it speaks a lot to how Gerald and Jamie's relationship could play out, as cute and sappy to dark and treacherous and then back again. Well done!
I loved this especially as I saw the first image as a representation of how Gerald and Jamie's relationship really is (and the lyrics are perfect) and the second was is a representation of how Jamie sees their relationship, with Gerald being the only person willing to look at him no differently.
I completely agree about the contrast between the two, I think that works really well! In fact, I'm going to second all of spiderstars's comment.
I particularly love the first picture, though - I love how you've got like, Jamie in one corner and Gerald in the other, and they're separated by the words. IDK it's like... metaphorical, or something. LOOK I AM NOT MAKING SENSE BUT I REALLY LIKE THIS IS WHAT I'M TRYING TO SAY.
I also like the juxtaposition of the two images - it's really a great representation of the potential highs and lows of their relationship. And in the second image, I love how they're almost mirror images of one another, but Jamie's face is sweet and hopeful while there's still a touch of slyness in Gerald's face. ♥
Quite selfishly I wish the first one were a bit bigger so I could set it as my wallpaper! There's just so much in it, so many layers of meaning, just like Jamie and Gerald's relationship. And the second one seems so much brighter because of the first one, and the gap between them is like. the massive gap between where they are now and what Jamie wants them to be. *possibly reading too much into it* The first is my favourite. Marginally.
