Of course spiderstars is the eloquent one, and I'd just like to ditto everything. :)

I'm partial to the first one because I'm drawn in by the dark mood and interesting imagery. The first image is layered and there's a lot to absorb, so it does a great job of capturing your attention and sucking you in. (I also think I'm just a sucker for dark emo love, hah.) The second image is adorable and wonderful and makes me smile. It's very Jamie! Awesome job. :)

Like everyone else, I'll echo spiderstars in my opinion of the juxtaposition. I also really like how bold the second one is, when they're happy, and how uncertain and dark the first one is. Good job.

The contrast between the two images is wonderful, especially the imprisonment vs the freedom theme at work with the blue sky and the window and everything. I especially like the first image. The text plays well off of the imagery and the combination of the real tiny bird cage with the drawing of Jamie trapped within is amazing. I think you might have mistakenly given Jamie blue eyes instead of brown though.
