1. essays suck, but part of life. after college, you will never have to write one ever again (if you so chose). so for the first two sentences, i'm totally with you and doing the exact same thing.
2. you are smart, don't forget that, ever. laziness is one thing, but if you found the willpower, you could pistolwhip all your classes and essays into shape.
3. if you even approach the state that this jeff person is in right now (i.e. jobless and wasting time at 28) i will smack you soooo hard! (out of love, of course)

hehehe...i appreciate the smacking offer. i'm going to write my essay and then feel a little superior, and have a chat with them about dragging their gutterpunk friends in off the street. the halfway house is closed.

rock on gal. i'm also amused by the "possibly smelly" comment. how is someone "possibly smelly"? granted i know you can't be sure unless your standing upwind, but bums and smell go together like hot people and sex tapes, they just do. that's like saying that my roommate and RA are "possibly hipsters" and "possibly annoying". no no, they ARE hipsters and THEREFORE annoying. simple logic.
sorry, i'm sure i had a point...
