I went out for dinner with my best friend Friday night. I had helped her with moving, painting and renovating her new place, and she had well rewarded me with lots of tasty meals! Saturday was priming day. I had the pleasure of going into the Brat's former room (or as my friend calls her, the Hellspawn!) and putting primer all over the Brat's supposed artwork. We have been sanding down the walls, then washing them down with a tri-sodium phosphate solution, then rinsing them down. Plumbers were in to make some much needed repairs yesterday. Today was remove the old, crappy wallpaper day from my freind's new townhouse. And a hell of a job it turned out to be! My friend rented a wallpaper steamer, and we took scrapers in hand. The steamer part looks like a large, flat steam iron. You apply this to the wallpaper, let the steam impregnate it, and then scrape it off. It was a tough go, as ( Read more... )
