I'm probably missing something obvious about that damn plug thing, but I've looked for a hole (no hole), the clump of wires does not fit in the space in the screw where you'd stick the screwdriver, and nor is it long enough to wrap around the screw. I had a pretty eventful day yesterday. The first time I tried to go out, I discovered that my bike was missing. I'd definitely parked it there after work on Wednesday night, but I think I forgot to take the key out. This has never been a problem, and everyone does it fairly often. For once, possibly the first time ever . . . I've seen a geek blockbuster before people at home have had a chance to. Hah! It was an ALT mission to see Spider-man 3 on opening night, and mission accomplished. Okay, I spent too much money today. I took 31,000 with me and came back with about 6,000. The thing is, I went with two ALTs to Costco, and finally took the plunge in buying a microwave/oven combo as I've been planning to for months. I haven't been much of a blogger lately, have I? O_o Ah, well, this week was all me being tired (even if I tried to sleep, I didn't sleep well), which meant being 1. dumb as a post and 2. cranky. I didn't even go to Saturday karate (although to be honest, my stomach's been unsteady all weekend, and that isn't conducive to strange poses, kicks, and punches). Well, one more day of my first week of actual teaching. So far the doesn't-speak-a-lot-of-English JTE is far easier to deal with than the very-fluent-lived-overseas-ALT.
