On Saturday we were part of colgaffneyis contingent at the Minnesota Scottish Fair and Highland Games. mia_mcdavid had just woven a 15 yard length of tartan, a custom commission for our friend AC. Here is Mia, wrapped up in her work.

I had planned to take Friday and Monday off to accomodate colgaffneyis show in Aberdeen, South Dakota. That was cancelled, to my profound relief. However, I took the vacation days anyway. It was great ( Read more... )

I finished two more fiber display stands, similar to these.
for mia_mcdavid to use in her business. Like the first pair, they can be taken apart for transport and quickly rebuilt on site. She will need them for her trip next week.
