Any suggestions on how to fix scratched glass?

Someone just gave me a TV but was unwise in how they carried it and ended up scratching the screen on cement. In short: a free TV is great, one with scratches on the screen is not so great. But what can I really say to the person who was giving it to me for free ( Read more... )

If you need a source for jewelers rouge, you might want to try Lacy & Company. I've generally had very good luck getting tools and materials there.

I needed jewelers rouge for something and I couldn't find it locally in my area. I was able to find it on ebay and it was cheap. I haven't read anything about what you're doing but I wonder if the glass on a TV is tempered. In either case, seems like the way to go is slow and steady without too much heat buildup and be prepared for catastrophic failure. Good luck!
