Hello! lazy-daze and I have decided that the time for comment-fic is now. In this past episode, Sam and Dean get shwasted Dean says, "I miss these talks." However, we do not see said talk on-screen.

The problem is, when Dean gets drunk he thinks all Sam's ideas are smart. Even when they're really, really not.

I'm not sure we've ever seen Sam non-angsty drunk for an extended period, but I imagine him as tending to long, bizarre sentences.

And then there's the shoulders and Sam's always falling into holes and he can't now because he'd have to fall through Dean and all the humor gets bittersweet while still being funny.

This has everything, damn you for your ridiculous talent! Gandalfstein LOL! Then the tumbling thoughts running through Dean's addled brain to add poignancy to the drunken logic - and "Dean’s under Sam, Sam can’t fall into any holes in the ground now, not without going through Dean."

And then the spinning with them both at the still point in the centre kind of sums up their whole lives, doesn't it?
