Yes! The minute they showed that ship I said to the friend that I was watching with that it looked like the ship from the Logger. She thought it looked like a TARDIS with the column in the centre. She kind of has a point... I wonder if there's some kind of connection there? Either way I think it could be!
My friend M. has a theory that since the ship in "The Lodger" was destroyed in 2010, this can't be the same ship, but is just one of a series of similar ships owned by the Silence, or the Silents, or whatever they are. The one in The Lodger was a lost or damaged one.
(It does look like a TARDIS, doesn't it? I did wonder whether the two-parter would end with River getting her own TARDIS!)
Yeah, I can't remember the last time anybody (except my AP American History teacher) had a good word to say for Nixon. Maybe Ann Coulter. It's kind of nice to see him portrayed positively, as someone who (among his anxieties about the phone calls) was also worried for "Jefferson".
