Sam was definitely misguided in keeping himself away from Dean for so long. But yeah, with your fic, I can see where he's coming from. Thanks! I like this very much! :)

Yeah, I don't really think it was a great decision for him to make, but I'm glad this seemed plausible :)

I really like this interpretation of Sam and though it goes by quickly, why Bobby goes along with the plan too. Thanks for sharing!

Very nice. Sam's such a sweet giant headcase.
I think Sam's problem is that he's convinced that the world revolves around him. Dean, Azazel, and Lucifer did very little to dissuade him from this belief. It apparently never crosses Sam's mind that Dean might one day bump Sam down on his priority list, and start taking care of someone else for a change.

He really is a mess, isn't he? They both are. I think Sam kind of thinks that he can fix everything if he's in control of everything, despite evidence to the contrary :) Thank you.

I really liked this - that you've given Sam a reason to do what he did, and shown that it was as hard for him to do it as it was for Dean to think he was still in the Cage. I don't think the show had time to put that across all that well, and Sam came off pretty unsympathetic, even when he was refusing to talk about Hell like Dean did in season 4.

I also liked how you wrote Lisa here - as being strong for Dean when he needed someone. And I loved the part where Sam's watching Dean with Ben and reflecting on how Dean was more of dad to him than John ever was.

The Campbells are evil. Hopefully Sam doesn't know that. (That's my take anyway! I don't think they're even Campbells!!)

Thank you!

It was fun trying to see how Lisa might fit into Dean's life, especially considering what a wreck he was. As for Sam...I do think he came off as pretty unsympathetic, but this was sort of my retcon attempt :P I hope Show does some 'splainin.
