Today in my eye: Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow, ow, ow! Also: ow! The important thing is that the surgery went textbook. Gunk in the eye cleaned out, vitreous replaced. Unexpected (to me) 500 (!) photo-coagulation (laser) zaps (the OR folks were counting them out, in hundreds via machine to the doc as he worked.) to the retina.
