Im mainly a bandom doodler, that being mainly mcr, msi type stuff though i'll have a bash at anything anyone asks of me...especially if its bandgirls/ladies in general. I enjoy sketching them.

Hey! I only recently came across your work as well, and I've gotta say I'm impressed that all of the ladies you draw are so badass!! :P I especially like that recent one of superwoman...I am almost always too lazy for backgrounds so props for that :D

God, im so very hopeless with backgrounds /o\ They are not my friend and then sometimes when i do try and put way too much detail into them but lose my drive to finish properly! Backgrounds, why do you hate me so?!

so i've heard your name dropped in the bandom circle way too many times and thought i'd hit you up and i'm very impressed. i don't know much about art background and history and influences, i can only comment on what aesthetically pleases me, but i can see a definite streak of trademark-edness in your work. it's very bold, has an attitude of an artist who's discovering themselves while they go along but there's a solid foundation there too, like you're comfortable with your style.

i absolutely adore the bandgirls you draw because you put a lot of their personalities into the art, quirks that are quite dominant in your pieces. i think my favorite piece of bandgirls was of amanda palmer in the white gown. the piece was so centered on her yet there was so much drama to it, so many things said in the background colors.

I used to get woe over not having my own trade mark style that everyone would recognise, that i was still developing but i remember my illustration tutor saying that it would be years till you fell into something that was uniquely your own and he's right.
I play around with a few different methods of working and right now im trying to focus more on a style i used back on my illustration course that was my favourite way of working and most honest to who i am. Im not neglecting other ways of working though.

Thank you, i love drawing bandom ladies, maybe just because they are so very awesome and i look up to them a lot.
