Made it to Boracay island, whoo! It's been an adventure. Jess is on crutches b/c of a busted ankle, so things are slow. Today I saw bunnies and puppies and ginormous breadfruit and avocados and dresses and mud and Bath & Body Works products... oh my! I´ve been volunteering for a few weeks now on Saturdays for a few hours at an elementary school-age program. The kids range from 6 to 14 years old. There´s another American that volunteers too, Aaron, and he´s been there since October.
