I've never been much for telling the world about what I'm currently feeling or experiencing. For a brief time it was interesting but I got bored of it years ago. Heck. YES. Best remakes ever.

I got sick AGAIN this year for Xmas. It started really early in the morning, about 4 AM or so and I could not get back to sleep. Most horribly painful day I can remember. It was a dark and stormy...day. Or maybe it wasn't, I can't remember. Well, of course I don't remember. I was BORN that day and thus today I have experienced twenty-three years of life. It feels like just yesterday that I was turning 18. :| Life passes by so quickly. And I STILL haven't done anything.

Having gone back and read some of my old entries, I'm struck by how much I have changed over the years. I used to make stupid little posts about how lonely I was hoping to get some reaction, ranted and rambled whenever I felt bad, etc. etc. Not so anymore. So I recently stumbled across a game called La-Mulana. It's an independant, free game made in the style of really old MSX games. The MSX being a computer console or somesuch thing that wasn't released in America. It's a lot like Metroid or maybe Castlevania (admittedly not played the latter) and can be unforgiving. Been a while since I woke up to a dream that left me emotional like this. I both love and hate those kinds of dreams -- love because of the feelings, hate because I pretty much will never experience that same dream again. Seriously. I'm a college graduate. Can you really believe it? I have an Associate's! Well, okay, the ceremony hasn't happened yet but I have finished all the requirements.

It's beautiful to be making personal progress.

I've finally managed to find what works for me. I started upon a story reference or story bible, whatever you want to call it. Handwrote it. Haven't yet put it into a word processor yet but, as of today I have written 46 1/4 pages on the background, characters, important details, locations, and otherwise of my story.
