Writer's Block: GIP (Gratuitous Icon Post)

Mar 30, 2009 12:20

The moment Craig Dean stepped out onto that tarmac to the tune of Dayvan Cowboy on the 1st of September 2008 sent shivers down my spine as I watched the moment I'd been waiting for for three months; an event so joyous that much of the day was spent giggling into my shirt sleeves and making cryptic notes detailing how I wanted it to happen whilst ( Read more... )

WOMAN, YOU ARE SCARING ME! Which song was I listening to when I noticed this entry? DAVYAN COWBOY! :O

Craig's return was so good, and I'm glad you decided to take the icon back because it's lovely.
Craig Dean is so much love. Therefore, using a Craig Dean icon is ALWAYS relevant! ;)

Besides, deleting that icon would mean that our icon romance would come to an end, hee... *uses appropriate icon*

I think I jumped off the sofa in joy when I saw it, and I watched it on E4+1, and then on C4+1 then next day - FOUR TIMES OVERALL. AND IT WAS GROOVY AND OMG I LOVED IT AND GUH *never woke up from that*

I still can't listen to Dayvan Cowboy because of that - the topped skipped songs in my iTunes are that and Can't Stop This Feeling I've Got ;P omg, you are gonna love those things I linked in your newest post XD

I never saw the "Craig Dean is an asshole" stuff, I think I was just blinded by how "OMG GUH" he was. The only time I can't hate him more is when he denies what happened with JP at the SU: "I haven't been round to yours in ages", and even then it's kind of justified in his confusion. And then he comes back, and it's all so REAL. I mean, I'd never seen Craig Dean on my screen and understood it all, and then to see him there, in sort-of-REAL-LIFE, and he's there and ON MY TV IN MY HOUSE and everything IN SHIRTS WITH CHEST AND HOTNESS. My, you can't imagine the GUH.

Our "icon romance" lol. Love it! I really do, actually.

Hee, that's adorable! I so want to watch it on tv (Craig and JP on a real big screen, yum!).
Emotion overload, huh? I listen to that song a bit too much, I think, as well as I Can't Stop This Feeling I've Got, but I still get overwhelmed with emotions. However, I can't bear to listen to I Close My Eyes And Count To Ten*is not obsessed with the McDean music and is so not abusing the McDean Fans iPod at all ( ... )

oooh yay *feels special* I'm rather fond of it too. It's all Craigy and yum :D

I daren't watch it too much because the whole thing pretty much renders me incapable of speech for several hours afterwards. I was so unbelievably squeeful the first time, it's not even funny.

Hey, I've been meaning to ask you, are you thinking of writing any fic or anything?

Aww, I totally understand your speech incapability.

There is fic underway. Remember that precis of what happened to the guys after the SE that I mentioned when we met at fandomsecrets? Yeah, airinshaw and I are co-writing that - it's like a journey through our personal canon! At this point it's almost 10000 words. O_o We're hoping it won't be too long until we're done.

lol. It's alright, it's Monday - that's excuse enough :P

I make it vague because in my opinion, much of the fic written in this fandom is extremely poor. There's not enough goodfic around, and I reckon that needs rectifying. About 90% of all fic gets posted on a forum, an idea which I really really don't like, especially after I've got used to the meticulous organisation of fics and other fandom stuff here on LJ. I want to start some sort of McDean fic archive on LJ. Except I need followers and fans and posters and mods and betas and stuff. I wondered if you and your little bubble of literate McDeaners would help me get that sorted?

Yeah, demanding Lj-er demands a lot, sorry.

Sounds like a good idea to me. Central organisation/archiving is a good thing ( ... )
