You know you've been shopping in Lush too much when...

...the staff stop asking you whether you need any help and instead greet you and continue the conversation from last time.

As I recall, you also get Christmas cards?!

They probably just think I'm mad. But at the end of the day, who's got the bath ballistic with rosebuds in it, eh? Now who's mad?

Last bath ballistic I had from Lush left the bath covered in purple scummy goo, which was kind of sub-optimal, even if it did smell nice. (Sex Bomb FWIW, present from Jan :-)

Yes, I know what you mean about that one! The title just *had* to be done, but it's a shame that about ballistic itself. The 'flower' is kind of odd, too. Sort of jelly-ish when it gets wet.

My usual favourite is the Fairy Jasmine (but you knew that), followed by most of the ones with flowers/petals in. If you're going to be self-indulgent, you might as well do it properly.... :-)

I personally like the Featherweight Fruit shampoo bar. It smells yummy. :)

Waaah! We don't have that here! But it sounds good: "...leaving you soft and clean with lots of fluffy bounce". Well, I'll take a dozen.

I'm allergic to lavender

Ouch! I can see why you'd be put off, then.

As for recommendations, it's a bit difficult, because they've just revamped a *lot* of their haircare range, and the ones that I use have gone. (Woe is me!) Sorry!

If only we had Lush here! Wah for living in the States. :( I have to order my Lush goodness from Canada--which is probably a good thing, as I can only imagine how much I'd spend if I could actually browse in the store.

Too right! I work about 7-10 minutes' walk from the centre of town. It's just waaay too easy to decide to wander in.... I could add it all up, but actually, I think it's probably better not to. :-)

Mmmhmm. My friends back home in the SF Bay Area definitely expect me to visit with bath ballistics and massage bars in hand. I think there's something kind of extra alluring about one thing they can't get in the US that we have in abundance in Toronto.Heehee. Kind of makes up for my not being able to get Origins products here.

My recent bathtime adventures: I really liked Phuket, but my favourite was the little spice scented one with chunks of cocoa butter that I can't identify (this batch was a birthday prezzie) Bonne Bain Bonnard was a disappointment I thought. Still haven't tried the avocado thingie , the blue bubble bath with seaweed,or Floating Island.

I've been a long time fan of Angels on Bareskin

*waves* Thanks for adding me; have added you back.

Yes, I liked Phuket, too. Not sure what the mystery one was - not Butterball? I love Angels on Bare Skin, too - I use it every night. My latest favourite from Lush is the new American Cream conditioner. It has a gorgeous smell, and it stays on your hair, so you turn your head during the day, and get this sudden whiff of vanilla.
