Just a short one - 5 days in Melbourne, an 80 minute plane trip south from Sydney.... Caught up with some friends, but mostly went to see galleries, museums... & a whiskey distillery!!

Starward make a variety of whiskeys - from more traditional single malt styles to a weird-but-great one that spends some time in ginger beer casks & is like a really strong scotch & dry...

At least your souvenir came from somewhere exotic! Ours was just from another Australian city!! Bloody Southerners...

Melbourne is always a bit of fun, also a good jumping-off point for various sights & places down at the bottom end of the mainland - what residents of Tasmania refer to as the 'North Island'

The souvenir? Well, it's been like a bad headcold... luckily, I suppose. I'm glad my Partner & I waited 2½ years to get one of the newer, milder versions!!

In many trips to Melbourne over the years, we'd never been to the Museum... & the Art Gallery always seems to have something interesting on display

The souvenir's annoying, but fortunately relatively mild - compared to what it was like a year or so ago, so I'd say we're lucky to have not caught it before now!
