If anyone from Glee deserves to be nominated for Best Supporting Actress this year, it's Naya. She's been fantastic and has been one of the funniest and most touching parts of the show this season. I LOVE Jane Lynch, but I think Naya deserves it more, to be honest.

I completely agree, I hope they let her shine this year, the girl deserves it.

There's too much competition out there for any of these people to win, imo, and 75% of them shouldn't even be considered for a nomination.

IA. Some don't have enough screen-time or storylines imho.

Agreed. I also don't think most of the cast is good enough to actually deserve to win or be nominated. And the writing has been less than spectacular, which may make it harder for the actors to get the noms they may have deserved otherwise.

The actors are the ones who put themselves in and really, the rules for guest actor/actress are that they have to be in six episodes or less, so someone like Chord Overstreet, who's been in every episode this season but is still considered a guest star, would not actually be eligible for the guest star Emmy.

But has Darren only been in six episodes? It feels like more than that.

No, it's not six episodes or less. Six episodes is the minimum in order to be considered for Best Supporting Actor; you can still submit as a guest if you want.

For instance, John Lithgow was in every episode of Dexter's fifth season, but he submitted for (and won) Best Guest Actor in a Drama.

I think Chris has a great shot in either category, and honestly think he'd have won Best Actor if he submitted for it. He'd have a better shot than Matthew for sure. Steve Carrell might finally get one this year, though.

I just want anyone but Alec Baldwin to win, tbqh.

It's Steve's last year, so he might.

Chris would've gotten nominated for Actor, but I really can't imagine he'd have won; switching categories would have squandered some of the momentum he was from winning the Globe in another category. In Supporting, I'd say he's at least a mild favourite, the way things are going.

Dead at Charice submitting herself. She can sing, but an acting award? Guuuurl, no.
