Sorry for the lack of movement via gif; I'm posting from work! Tell us, what did you think of the final episode of the second season?

There were moments in this episode where I'd have sworn the writers were on crack and moments (like the date) where I kept thinking "this is not really happening, someone is havinga day dream ( ... )

So much stuff going on that made no sense, so many things swept under the rug, like Mike telling Finn that yeah, ok, he should have that duet with Rachel because that's their best chance at winning or Puck telling Finn to go after Rachel. It was the writers making sure we know that everyone else are ok with that and so should we, right?

Exactly! It's really sad that Mike only gets a line when they need him to support Finchel.

It kind of sickened me to see Rachel decide that Finn is after all more important than her dreams (her dream of winning Nationals that year, at least). I also find it massively irritating that Finn didn't show any consideration for his teammates with that kiss-all that mattered was that he got his way with Rachel, apparently. Who, incidentally, he didn't much care for up until the last episode. I could tolerate this pairing if the writing were anything resembling coherent and consistent but sadly it is not ( ... )

What ever happened to Quinn's big plans? That was so anticlimactic.

Haircuts apparently cure one of evil national-competition-sabotaging plans and the fact that the ex is now on again with his insufferable ex. Because when things go wrong, the best thing a girl can do is change her appearance. :| I guess this sort of makes sense with Quinn's new backstory, though. *sigh* Yet another reason for me to dislike it.

I didn't take it like that. She still loves him and screwed up by kissing him, but it wasn't thought through. Stupid mistake - yes, but she's still planning on leaving at the end of the year. I'm just happy that she realised she had to pick one or the other and she picked her career. About time!

She picked her career but then didn't really seem to care that Finn threw the entire competition because he NEEDED Rachel to want him back as soon as he wanted her again, and somehow couldn't wait until after the competition to discuss it. I thought it was a huge disservice to her and the team, and her reaction didn't really cohere with what we know about her ambition and professional integrity. But that's just how I saw it.

Sunshine/Rachel- will this friendship blossom and Vocal Adrenaline making more appearances like they did in season 1 now that they made peace just like Kurt/Rachel did in "Special Education"

Oh dear god, I hope not. Because as much as I like Vocal Adrenaline and their strange semi-villain status, I cannot stand Charice's terrible acting. She's a fantastic singer, yes, but her acting feels more wooden and awkward to me than the love scene in 'Star Wars: Attack of the Clones.'

The only time I actually believed any of her acting was when she was standing in front of the mike trembling with fear at having to perform. Charice seems like a wonderful girl, but honestly, the only time I can stand her onscreen is when she's singing. Even her silent emotions (with the one exception I mentioned above) read as forced to me ( ... )

I don't know why, but I was strangely content with this episode. Oh, it was all over the place and I don't think I truly liked a single one of the songs they did, but for some reason I'm not really all that upset when I think about this episode, even though I feel that I should be. Maybe it's because the second season has been so back and forth that I've come to expect this. I don't know ( ... )

I would agree with you about the kiss, if it weren't for the fact that VA also had an original song, and ND got twelfth of 50. So it does actually seem like it was the kiss.

I also hope Sam and Mercedes have a drama free relationship, but I don't think the writers are capable of that.

Crap, that's right. VA did sing an original song too, now that I think about it (I hate to say this because it makes me feel like a terrible person, but a lot of ballady songs sound the same to me, especially if they're sung by women, so I wasn't paying all that much attention to Sunshine's number or Rachel and Finn's for that matter). The fact that an original song got them into the top ten makes this even more frustrating to me because I remember the days when VA actually sang songs like a show choir, where solos are spread out if there were any at all, not one singer up front while everyone else backs him or her up for three minutes. But Glee's been doing that for so long I highly doubt they'll stop now. Ah well. I'm just hoping the sales on the original songs are bad enough that they stop doing them.

There will most likely be some romantic drama there. Or something concerning racism or classism, which probably won't be handled very well.

It's very odd. With Funeral, I liked the pieces but didn't feel like it came together to be a cohesive episode. With New York, I strongly disliked a lot of the pieces but was okay with the episode, although I suspect that was because of the epilogue ( ... )
