Sorry for the lack of movement via gif; I'm posting from work! Tell us, what did you think of the final episode of the second season?

The only time I actually believed any of her acting was when she was standing in front of the mike trembling with fear at having to perform. Charice seems like a wonderful girl, but honestly, the only time I can stand her onscreen is when she's singing. Even her silent emotions (with the one exception I mentioned above) read as forced to me.

And even though I'm sure they'll bring her back, I'm hoping they give her a reason for sticking around in the United States. Coming back to visit would be okay I suppose, except that her experiences have seemed to be universally awful with the exception of Rachel's go-get-em speech (because really, crack house, exclusion from original exchange school and subsequent transfer, being pushed beyond physical and emotional limits for a vocal group, only being liked for her musical talent and nothing else, etc. - that all sounds pretty terrible to me, and I know that I wouldn't come back unless I was a glutton for punishment). This is also the reason why I don't really see her moving to the US, but I could (grudgingly) buy it. If they randomly keep her in Carmel with no explanation then I'll be ticked because I don't know of a single high school student exchange program that lasts for more than a year and they've stressed the fact that she's an exchange student from the Philippines.
