With that, Maladicta let the girls behind a rock and sniffed, looking down at small bootprints in the sand. "This is probably where the boy was."

And if a vampire couldn't, a couple of little girls certainly couldn't.
"Damn this sun," she said, as a bit of her skin was uncovered for a moment. At least her cap gave her some protection from the sun. "It would really be nice if we could get a bit more shade. It would help us hide better, too."

"That was what Hisoka said." Kinda weird that no one was actually here. They weren't doing a very good job of gathering, if it was true. Hopefully it wasn't a trap.
Molly's eyes started to glow. Better to work quickly, either way. She picked up the nearest boulder and set it down next to the rock Yayoi was hiding behind.

"Molly, Maladict, Yayoi!" he said, hoarsely. He had run like the wind, and was panting and throwing his sweat-dripping hair back out of his eyes. "It turns out this is not a bad place to be at all; the really horrendous events are happening elsewhere. Listen, whatever you do, don't go back to the beach. River Tam has run amuck and is chasing people with an axe."
"I've been warning people out of her vicinity. Gotta go back and keep doing it. See you!"
And he was off to a fateful encounter with Misa and Muraki.
