Let him that is without stone among you cast the first thing he can lay his hands on(Day 9)

Jul 31, 2009 21:31

A whooshing sound precedes the rush of gas that quickly fills the first and second floors. Like most gases the Warden uses, it is colorless, odorless and works rather nicely. One after another the prisoners all fall unconscious and at last, even the strongest, most resilient prisoner succumbs ( Read more... )

Where it says weapons have been restored, does this mean weapons characters would have in canon or weapons they've managed to gain throughout the RP? (And if it does mean canon weapons, would Tank be able to have her tank?) Thanks! :3

If they don't already have their weapons, then they are to pick from the table of weapons as stated above. They also have the default plastic knife. What those weapons are on the table is your choice.

If a prisoner doesn't kill anyone, how and when do they die?

Zoe awoke slowly on a soft padded surface. The intense stabbing pain between her eyes gradually faded to the point where she was able to open the. She sat up and took in the white room with the monitors on one wall showing various battles.

Ai ya, she was supposed to be dead. Hadn't she died out there on the island? She put a hand to her forehead, then checked her abdomen, where most of the damage had been. Nothing. It couldn't have been a dream, with everyone else out there fighting. She had died, and she was still here. Somehow. What did it take to get out of this place? How many times would she die here? How many times would Wash or River or Simon have to feel like this?

Her head swam and she fell back against the padding on the floor. River had killed her. It was what the captain had always worried was going to happen someday, what everyone but Jayne had tried to assure him wouldn't.

Six gasped as the world appeared around her again. She expected to be in a tub of fluid, on the Resurrection Ship, just like all her downloads before.

No, no, she hadn't expected to download at all. There was no ship near the prison...or was there?

She opened her eyes, blinking at the light. She breathed in deeply and took in her surroundings. A white room. A white, padded room. Was this heaven?

No. No, there was a screen nearby, showing the island she had just been in. This must be the psych ward.

It had all been an illusion. But it had felt so real, even more than a projection ever did.

Zoe heard a gasp and turned her head, opening her eyes again. A blonde woman she didn't recognize had appeared in the room with her. Zoe supposed she had died, too. She sat up and looked at the woman.

"Are you all right?" she asked. As all right as either of them could be as dead women.

Kirk blinked at his sudden change in environment then instinctively reached for his phaser. Whipping his head around looking for the other 'prisoners' as the voice suggested, then some sort of cover. He kneels under the lee of a thick rock, whirling around into a defensive posture.

What the hell happened? How did he get here? Good questions that had to be answered later. The real question was ...how serious will these 'prisoners' heed the voices commands.

"Don't shoot me," said Hisoka, softly, not far from Kirk's rock. "You're new here...let me explain how things work."

He was standing in the open, both swords stuck through his sash, in his hakama and uwagi top, both black, the wind blowing his hair off his face.

Kirk lowers his Phaser.

'I don't want to shoot anyone. Where are we? Why are we here and who is in charge? Who are you?'

Hisoka said, "This is Glaxcin Prison. Nobody knows for sure where we are, but there are people from Earth and people from other worlds, different times, and sometimes from alternative realities. You've been kidnapped, like we all were."

"Our Warden likes to play games with us, and people have been hurt before. Though I must say this is the worst so far. But I won't kill anybody unless I'm attacked with lethal force, and even then, it would depend on who it was. If the Warden's going to kill me today, then the bastard is going to kill me. My name is Hisoka Kurosaki. Who are you?"

Tsuzuki; In a strange gothic/cemetery pathway heading towards a church. suicidal_notion August 1 2009, 01:59:14 UTC
“Not again.” Tsuzuki coughed out and tried to grab a hold of something to keep him balanced, but without no perception of where anything was he falls to his knees instead. The shinigami fights to stay awake but the gas is far stronger then he can bear. It is taking everything Tsuzuki has to just keep his eyes open. Within minutes even that is too much ( ... )

"I am unsure as to whether the Warden could reach any lower or not," Sephiroth commented from behind Tsuzuki.

Like the brunette, Sephiroth was in his battle gear, Masamune in hand, and a collar around his neck. He heard the orders and could not believe them. The voice in his head had gone silent for once and for that, he was glad. No insane urges took him over. "The Warden has, I noticed, gone out of his way to equip us. I have nearly all the summons from my world."

Tsuzuki checked his pockets and in his trench coat he found a hand full of fudas, not to mention he could feel his full capabilities and connection to his shikigami within the depth of his psyche. Yes they had there powers back and this only made the shinigami even more worried.". I have got to find Grell and you have to find Hisoka."

Tsuzuki tested the collar tugging it slightly. "There has got to be another way other then fighting. I won't do it, I won't fight anyone Sephiroth." he looked over at the church in the distance and clenched his fist.

"I doubt there is any other way, Tsuzuki," Sephiroth said in a grave voice. "And you know as well as I do that not all these prisoners are innocent. They can and will take advantage and what will you do then?"

Fresh salt air filled Lelouch's lungs and he opened his eyes irritatedly, dreading the onset of what he knew was another simulation.

A beach. How picturesque. The perfect setting for another of the Warden's violent mind games.

"Kill your fellow prisoners before they kill you. If you do not participate, you will be punished. Anyone who has not killed will die."

Lelouch's hands moved up to survey the strange weight around his neck as his lips slowly formed into a crooked grin like a cracking eggshell. His shoulders began to heave in laughter at the irony of his terrible plight.

His entire mission in attacking the other inmates with intent to kill beforehand had been based on the notion that the Warden valued the well-being of his prisoners. And here he was now -now that he had been made painfully aware that the Warden didn't care about his prisoners- being forced to seek spilling their blood again. Not only was it another dent in his already crumpled soul, not only would it damage the few remaining shadows of morals he had, it ( ... )

It had been ages since Alucard actually stood beneath the rays of the sun. While, the warm beams did little to harm his body physically, it did cause his orange eyes to squint. The last time he had stood under the sun, blood soaked the earth and hills around him. It had been a blood filled day, a battle in which thousands had lost their lives, and he had fallen into darkness ( ... )

Lelouch stopped cold as he heard the gun's telltale click. He certainly hadn't expected any of the cowardly prisoners in this societal repository to act so readily on mere preservation instinct without any further provocation. A dire miscalculation. In his poor physical shape Lelouch certainly didn't have the reflexes to dodge a bullet, nor would he be able to run.

How fortunate it was, then, that aiming a gun at someone required their eyes to be focused on their target.

Leaving out his usual introductory embellishments he directed his sharply red eyes at the opposing orange. "Die," was the simple command.

((OOC: Interpret it as you will. :) Lelouch's geass is effective for a 270 meter distance and requires direct eye contact. It isn't effective against immortals, but I'm not certain if Alucard would qualify so I'll leave that up to you. I'm also not sure what 'die' would mean to Alucard, or even if he can effectively 'die'. xD And as usual, Lelouch is open for all manners of physical misfortune.))

You would think you need eye contact, but that would be assuming that Alucard wasn't doing anything more than randomly pointing and shooting. In this case it was a bit of both, when he noticed Lelouch standing in his sites he did little more than look over the young man curiously. It was the spark of power in the young man's left eye that made that spark become a flame inside him.

Die

Alucard savored the word, and the energy that rushed into him was even more appealing. It tingled and it carried a message. Alucard's senses could practically taste it, the vampire begun to scream.

"AGAIN!" He held the gun firmly now and directly at Lelouch. He was demanding for the other to try again. "DO IT AGAIN! AGAIN!" He must have seemed completely crazy, insane even. A tongue far too long for any normal human snaked out and over his lips. He was hungry to see what this power of Lelouch's could do to him ( ... )
