In their eyes, the darkness only brings terror and mystery.
They don’t see that sometimes the night brings peace.
That sometimes, the night helps to wash away the incomprehensible horrors of the day until smiling is effortless again.
They don’t understand the release that nightfall brings, the freedom to expose yourself willingly, without consequence.
To them, a relationship held during nightfall only equals embarrassment and fear instead of comfort and love.
They don’t grasp the importance of something so special you keep it to yourself.
