That part was actually written around an experience of mine :P I was at a game and stood up to sing and the people next to me who were from the other team looked at me like I was crazy. It's so funny to see :P

LOL! Meeting at a football game -- that's an AU I didn't know I had wanted to read until I read this. Although, I'm not really sure why Blaine wasn't also supporting the Buckeyes? Because in this universe, he and Wes are from Florida? I only mention it because it took me a while to reconcile the fact that canon Blaine was a Buckeyes fan so I guess I was expecting it but when it didn't happen, I was thrown for the rest of the fic...

LOl I know, it's not explored much! Well, because I wanted him and Kurt to be supporting different teams, I had to have Blaine be a fan of a team other than the Buckeyes. Because it's AU, I easily just switched him to be a fan of the Gators from Florida. Kurt is a fan of the Buckeyes because he's in Ohio. They are different teams. So...yeah. I hope that solves it for you. But anyway, hope you liked it :)

Personally, I don't think it would have made much of a difference since the story wasn't hinged on them supporting different teams. Unless you were trying to subtly hint at something else I didn't quite pick up on?

Hmmm....other than the long distance relationship, it really doesn't symbolize much. It was really just to show they were from different places. *shrugs*

Ok so I got over my dislike of the Gators to read this because Kurt at a Buck's game, I needed to read that! It was in fact super cute! Though I have to say you made the Buckeye fans way nicer then we actually are >8) In fact I think that it's more likely for Burt to disown Kurt for supporting the Gators then for being Gay lol. On the positive side at least Blaine wasn't a Michigan fan!

lol yay! So glad you thought it was cute :) And yeah, lol, I kinda did. I blame the Kurt high I've been on since last night from BTW :P Couldn't write rowdy fans lol. I also wrote the Gator fans less rowdy than they are, too. I would know, being one ;P
