Maybe you should let her go and move on. Let the pain go and wait for someone else. Even though you think there is chemistry between the both of you, if she doesn't want to be with you and doesn't dare to take the risk, maybe she's not the one for you. You shouldn't think too much about someone who makes you feel miserable and stay friends with her. Maybe you are just confused and you don't really care about her in that way.

Oh yes, I have thought about this. I don't like letting things go to waste though, especially when it's so hard to find a girl that is actually worth it. I don't like giving up, but for now I am not doing much.
