"But it's my senior prom," Karla whined--or tried to. Because she really didn't have it in her to whine. There was too much floaty happy still to work up a proper whine. "I should...go. For...reasons. Seeing people and stuff. Dancing. I helped plan it."

Warren took a moment to properly consider that statement.

"We can dance here. I am totally capable of dancing with you, right here."

And they wouldn't have to share the dance floor. Hell, he wouldn't have to share her, if other people wanted to dance. Which... was weirdly possessive of him, but damn it, this week...
