Suite in the Arms Hotel, Friday Night, Several Hours After Prom Started

Apr 05, 2013 20:09

Karla lay on the bed, limbs askew, hair tangled, skin still flushed. "Mmm..." Words were still rather difficult at the moment. In case there had been any doubt, pollen plus wing-scritches were definitely a good recipe if one wanted a pouncy Warren.

Which was handy, because this week Karla most emphatically did.Stretching, she floated the clock up ( Read more... )

"We need to?" Warren gave the clock a quick glance, and then wrinkled his nose at it. "I mean... we could. I did bring clothes and things..."

But, well, what they were doing was way more interesting than some school dance, wasn't it?

"But it's my senior prom," Karla whined--or tried to. Because she really didn't have it in her to whine. There was too much floaty happy still to work up a proper whine. "I should...go. For...reasons. Seeing people and stuff. Dancing. I helped plan it."

Warren took a moment to properly consider that statement.

"We can dance here. I am totally capable of dancing with you, right here."

And they wouldn't have to share the dance floor. Hell, he wouldn't have to share her, if other people wanted to dance. Which... was weirdly possessive of him, but damn it, this week...

"But what about dancing with all my friends, most of whom I won't see after I graduate?" Karla asked, tracing lazy spirals on his chest with her nails. "Aren't I supposed to go and have a wonderful time dancing with them, too?"

...All those friends she...didn't really have?

"I should probably hit up Jono for a dance." Just to hear him bitch, heh.

Was Karla aiming to have Warren mantle over her? Because he was totally doing that. It was a good time for mantling.

"... Today is a terrible time for a prom," Warren informed Karla. In case she hadn't been aware. "God, you'll be off dancing with everyone else, and I'll end up... I don't know... prowling."

Like a caged animal, watching his made get overly friendly with the asshole that enjoyed picking on him a little too much.

Grr.

Unf. Mantling. She was going to lean up and lick his nipple to show how much she approved of that.

In fact...it made her a terrible person and she was likely to go to Hell for it, but...

"You could watch," she suggested coyly. "You'd enjoy watching me have a good time, even if it's with someone else, wouldn't you?"

"... I do want you to enjoy yourself," Warren admitted, his voice half a growl as he arched his back. Oh, god, her tongue. "You're not inviting them back here when you're done dancing, are you?"

Because there were some things he really wasn't in the mood to share.

"Hmmm, is that an option?" Karla teased, chasing his other nipple to give it the same treatment. "Think about it. All the pollen in the air...getting hot and sweaty while grinding to the music...Uncle Saetan's told you his saying about dancing, hasn't he?"

Karla, you are a terrible girl. Why are you so awful?

"Oh, he has." And if Warren was crawling over her, pressing himself right up against her in order to pin her against the bed... then what? "Is this your way of telling me you'd rather not be right here, right now?"

With his hands reaching for her hips, claws tracing lightly over her skin.

"Not at all," Karla admitted, giving him a naughty grin. A naughty grin that soon melted into a sigh as his body covered hers. "This is me trying to get you all worked up because I'm a terrible girl."

"Pretty sure you're missing your senior prom," he informed her, not at all apologetically. "We'll make up for it around your graduation or something."

Because that was a thing, right? Graduation. Totally a thing.

Not that he was thinking about that too much. He could be kissing her, instead. Didn't that sound like an excellent plan?

Well, it did to Karla. Not that she was going to give up the pretense of wanting to go to her prom anytime soon. Because she was difficult that way.

But, momentarily. Because kissing. Lots of kissing.

"But what if I waaaaaanted to go?" she asked when she broke for air. And then kissed him again before he could answer.

See, that wasn't a terribly compelling argument, either. Warren did hum against her mouth, though. Hum against her mouth, and press his claws a little more firmly against her skin.

What was she asking for, again? It probably wasn't all that important, was it?

It was, in fact, important! Because she was using the idea of prom to drive Warren crazy as was only right and proper, dammit.

Even if his claws against her skin made her sigh and cling more closely to him, her breasts firm against his chest. "But daaaaance," she breathed.

"Forgot 'bout it arready," Warren purred, leaning down and kissing her again before attempting more words. "What dance?"

He was pretty sure he hadn't come here for some dance somewhere...

Nope! He'd come (again and again and again) because of all the pollen in the air.

"The prooooooooom," Karla said, tilting her neck to show him her throat. "My seeeenior prom. S'a big deal, right?"
