Why I will be laughing tomorrow
People have been predicting the end of the world/ the rapture/ etc. for about as long as recorded history. The latest prediction is that the rapture happens today and the world ends in October. Personally, I find this to be a bunch of bullshit.
Why?

Last night, in the midst of their channel surfing, my parents stumbled upon a show called Strange Sex. For some reason, they kept flicking back to this show during ad breaks on whatever it was they finally settled on. And they were clearly grossed out and disturbed by what they saw on SS.

A bizarre fear?
Is it weird that I am absolutely terrified of making phone calls?
No, seriously. Just the thought of picking up a phone to call, let's say for example, the dentist's office, freaks me out. I just can't do it. Calling someone like my mom, on the other hand, is perfectly fine. If I have to call anyone/anywhere else, I panic.

First convention
I'll be going to Anime Boston tomorrow morning with my dad and my sister. Just for one day, to check it out. I've never been to anything like this before, so I'm not sure what to expect. I've looked at the schedule of events, so I have a rough idea of where I want to go and when to be there.

Just checked the Amazon listing for Christopher and His Kind. The release date has been pushed back to June 28. Interestingly, Party Animals is still listed for May 3. Huh.
