Weekend wrapup

This past weekend was pretty quiet. Being too injured/sore to drive 5 hours to Confluence, I instead took Amtrak down to davinwarter's place on Friday night, and spent the weekend there.

I did very little of my usual online stuff over the weekend, but instead spent most of it sleeping, socializing with Davin (who I haven't seen outside of a con in years),

What kind of shoes do you normally wear?

New Balance walking shoes. Been wearing them since 2003 by the recommendation of my past pawdiatrist. The new pawdiatrist liked 'em too. :-)

I wear leather sandals for my day-to-day wear.
That solved a problem I'd been having with pernicious athletes foot that I had since I was in my teens.

Only down side so far is the lack of places that make them with really good arch support.

I've seen quite a few people around here wearing the Five Fingers Shoes which are really peculiar looking. They do also make you look like you've got pawpads underneath too.

I have no idea if those are a good idea or not, or even if you'd find them comfortable. ask the pawdiatrist!
