And I can totally see the look on Prime's face as he's being hauled away. "WTF do I do?" Which is followed by, "I am never going to live this one down." *facepalm*

*does a win dance* *trips and falls over*

Glad you liked! I don't know where these damned crack bunnies are coming from, but they are biting me really hard. I have my multichaptered fic where I want it, but I have no desire to work on it because I'd rather write this stuff instead. I've got this one, a 'Con crack fic I'm working on, and I got hit with an absolutely evil idea for a second chapter of The Glories of eBay last night while I was sober cabbing for a bunch of friends. That one is probably going to be done this week. So, you get your wish!

My friends think (and they're right) that there's something wrong with me after last night. I was driving them all around to get their drunk food (McDonalds fish fillets - yuck!) when inspiration struck me based off something one of them said. I won't spoil it, but suffice to say I busted out my laptop and started outlining as soon as we got back to the house we were partying at so I wouldn't forget. And people wonder why I go everywhere with my computer! When inspiration strikes, I have to answer.

Seriously though, I never thought writing fic would be so fun, and I also never thought anyone would like what I've written. *bounces happily*

*blushes*

Thanks! I admit I'm surprised at the reception this one's gotten so far. I didn't think it was nearly as funny as The Glories of eBay, but people are liking it just as much. But, and embarrassed Optimus is probably better than a pissed off Ironhide. Or at least in my mind, that's how it works. When the Boss Bot's embarrassed, don't you just want to pinch him? He's absolutely adorable!

You should see my fic Sand and Vacuum Cleaners, where Optimus is afraid to tell Mikaela she's getting him off. Total accidental overload MESS and Mikaela doesn't find out until A Dance to Remember when he comes clean about it. XD FUNNY fic.

Basically any story where Optimus is in awkward situations and stays mostly cool is funny as hell to me XD

My dear, I've read and loved every single one of your fics. When I read Sand, I think I spit my Propel dangerously near my laptop reading his reaction. And his confession in Dance? PRICELESS. "Tell them about the awkward overload, Optimus!" I can so picture Ratchet saying that and Prime just going, "Oh yeah! That one!" and not being the slightest bit embarrassed.

I thought though, in this sense, he would be at least a bit embarrassed because it's not like a street sign is a cultural thing, and he expects his subordinates to follow Earth law to the letter. It was irony unconfined that the boss is stuck in an impound because he failed to read the sign that was probably right there.

But again, he's Optimus right? He's supposed to be the epitome of cool, calm and collected. Well...most of the time. :)

Poor, poor Optimus. He didn't realize before he came to Earth that our scarcest natural resource is dignity. ;)

*falls on the floor in hysterical laughter*

That was the best way to describe Earth I've ever heard. Win, right there. Optimus should be told that by the time the Autobots leave Earth (if they ever do leave), he won't have any dignity left. He shouldn't worry. Also thought, Lennox would be remiss in his duties as a soldier if he didn't make fun of Prime.

As anyone with a job in an authority role will tell you, the more you're teased, the better you're liked. (I'm a female who works in a male dominated, authority based profession, and I can tell you with 10000% certainty that is the case.) If you ever are in any kind of leadership role on Earth, don't expect to have any dignity!

That prompt reduced me to a fit of giggles when I read it. I did the easy part; you deserve the credit for the idea.

Your icon is super cute, by the way. I'm glad it meets the creative genius' approval!
