Pip_longfellow and I both looked at this at the same time and got the same direction and after a little work were able to see it going different directions at the same time...
I am going to give the post a day or two before posting which direction is predominate for myself and Pip. :)
The real fun of this is when you can see it go both directions. Even better, when you figure out how the optical illusion really is working.
Ahh if I watch her foot and shadow, I can get it to reverse as well. But if I refocus on the rotating extended foot, my mind reverts to the original clockwise motion.
OK, closing my eyes doesn't help, but I can switch her direction back and forth simply by looking down and sort of leering at her her out of my upper peripheral vision. @.@
Actually, now if I stare her and allow my focus to blur a little, I can alter which hip appears to be leading, ergo which leg she pivots on, and therefore what direction she's spinning. Weird. That's a fun one, but it makes my eyes hurt.
I find it interesting to sit down and see which my brain sees at the end of the day.... I originally saw it as going clockwise. Now it depends on the evening.
