I didn't want to be another commenter saying "Yeah, me too", but it's pretty much a common, universal feeling that is difficult to convey to those who haven't experienced it. Whenever anyone - myself, or close friends - post about depression, there's always a flood of comments from those who are/have been in the same boat. It can be reassuring, but it's also scary that it's such a prevalent, frustrating disease that is so difficult to overcome, and played on repeat throughout your life.
