Today was a long, trying day at work (tons of customers who were affronted that we wouldn't accept their returns, despite their blatent violations of the return policy), and I was too exhausted to do more than kick off my shoes when I got home. Oh, wow. That’s an awesome, awesome moth story. You rock.

The pictures are all nifty, but I really really love the last one from the rail track.Since I tend to freeze up whenever someone shows even the remotest interest in me, it was pretty easy for me to do the distant-but-friendly thing, which I felt surprisingly un-guilty about.
You know, you are not obliged to reciprocate everybody’s interest in you; that’s not how it works. Yes it’s a compliment, but it doesn’t mean you have some sort of emotional debt you should repay. (I’m sure you know that, but it popped into my head so I wanted to let it out.)

Yay moths! The breathing trick is really neat.

i called and left you a voicemail a few days ago asking if you could let me crash at your apt during the conference at amherst. i called again and left you a voicemail with the dates. if you don't call me back by the end of today, i'm going to assume you're not able to host me, and make other arrangements.
