The Tree Folks came to clean up the mess that was left when the big "Ash" tree hit my parents' house and yard and the difference is amazing!
Behold! An actual Yard where there was once all Tree!

Surprising how much grass died off in barely over a week of having a tree on top of it.
The tree left big holes in the Earth from the impact. It probably doesn't show in this pic, but that hole's about mid-calf deep.
OOH! Is that a giant foot print? Was I right about Godzilla stomping through the yard? Had to be Godzilla because when last we saw Sasquatch he was falling into the Pit with Michael only to mysteriously reappear standing beneath a street light outside his brother's new home. Or was he merrily tubing down a Strawberry River in search of the Pick of Destiny... I forget.
The patio is now visable again (as is my friend's fabulous shoe!) When I took the picture earlier you couldn't see one inch of patio and I was standing on branches to get most of the shots. Now there's barely a leaf left.
The deck still needs fixing.
As does the roof and the Bird!Killing! Window.
But overall, it's amazing. And they did it in about a day and a half! Thanks Tree Guys! (I didn't meet them. I was busy at work while they were doing their thing. But I could hear their chainsaws a-buzzin' when I talked to my mom on the phone during lunch break.)
