Great photo!

And great clip, I'm tempted to watch the whole thing now, it looks a hoot! What on earth are on those plates round their necks? Regency doritos? Or smelly herbs to counteract the stinky baths?

No idea what the floating plates around neck thing was. I assumed it was nibbles in case they got hungry while 'bathing' as they seemed very keen on drinks/food/hospitality in them days.

No idea if there is any historical accuracy to the scene - don't think it's in the original book, as that revolves around taking (drinking) the waters in The Pump Room.
