Eric's funeral was a little awkward, I'm not going to lie. I'm never good at saying the right things, and it's stupid to say to his closest friends "How are you?". With the husband having long days, needing to drive with the car, that mostly leaves me at home. If I wanted the car, I would have to get up at 4am, and drop him off at 5am, so I can pick him up at 3pm. I have to re-evaluate my bucket list. What I must get done, what are trivial and can sit on the back burner.

Apparently, I only have until December 21, 2012. Unless the Mayans just ran out of stone to write their calendar and it's all a big joke.

Granted, the cleaning is because Ricky is holding a "Call of Duty Party", but it's nice when everything is where it should be. The mental chaos of distractions, books, studying, and checklists of "what do we need now?" is a lot more manageable when your space is in order.

And I bought chairpads for my dining table chairs. Which is nice.
