wow, what a week. i have finally returned from luxurious eau claire, WI where i have been for work this week. it was both draining and unnecessary, so that's good. i am absolutely floored by this weather. it's 60 degrees, windy, and cloudy--perfect for slow music and hot beverages. i'm still sipping on my chai latte from the drive. before enduring

It's good that you were at least pondering ideas that verge into some sort of creative product. I don't blame you for your invariable bout of sloth at the same time though. I often just find myself tired and wanting of not much more than a stuffed surface to sink into while doing not much of anything. Of course you knew that already. I trust you will make the necessary desicions in the process of making work a tolerable and healthy environment. You are a champion dear, and if there is any noteworthy perception that I can honestly cling to and share with you as of knowing you for almost eight years; It's that often times you paint your current challenges as in such dreadful light that you fail to appreciate your own strength in the situation at hand. School was just one example, how you would don the cap of terror and paranoia at any test soon to round the corner of acedemic necessity. don't feel too bad. i bought all these materials to make a collage, and it's been sitting in a bag for about a month now. the big blank posterboard is staring me down and intimidating me beyond belief!
sometimes you must nurse your inner sloth. you guys clean too much. i swear that you will never ever set foot in our apartment once we get moved, it will be entirely too disgusting for you! or maybe we will suck you into our slothy-vortex of slobdom. who knows?
bosses are scary. the only thing that truly terrifies me about moving is the big lotto i will be entering boss-wise. i love mine now, but have come to the realization that my chances of getting another wyeth are one in a bazillion..good luck to you, madam. and much love back to ya!

as i sit here now, contemplating doing my chores, i must agree. it seems as though i am constantly cleaning. however, this place is NEVER and i mean NEVER completely clean. our apartment is so small that the tiniest mess is a disaster. therfore, my work is never done. ashtrays fill up and the dishes in the sink begin to smell funny. dust bunnies breed under the bed and the soap scum in the shower develops a pulse. it's gross, trust me. so i reckon i must maintain my brutal routine of cleaning during my free time, dammit. the job is never done.
