wow, what a week. i have finally returned from luxurious eau claire, WI where i have been for work this week. it was both draining and unnecessary, so that's good. i am absolutely floored by this weather. it's 60 degrees, windy, and cloudy--perfect for slow music and hot beverages. i'm still sipping on my chai latte from the drive. before enduring said two hour drive, i was feeling quite ambitious. i was planning on coming home and doing some creative projects. now i'm feeling a bit lazier than planned. it's good to be here at the apartment at 2:30 in the afternoon. i feel like curling up under a throw blanket and finishing my book or watching one of the bazillion dvds that keep coming in the mail. matt has signed up w/BMG dvd club and now we're up to our ears. no complaints about though. i dread going back into my store tomorrow. if i'm gone for a few days, my inbox is invariably full of communication. blaaaah. not to mention i am having difficulty working with my boss lately. soon i'm going to have to swallow my pride and sit him down to formulate some solutions. dreadful. and speaking of inboxes, i just checked the junk mail folder of my hotmail account and it is FULL of pornographic advertisements. i am basically unoffendable, but the subject lines of those things are appalling. why does america cultivate so many slimeballs? gross. anyway, i just wanted to post something since i haven't been on in a few days. now i will proceed with my sloth. i hope everyone is having a splendid day. much love.
