Seems good so far. Poor Pepper (though I admit I did wonder what Fury was thinking when he showed Tony that file in the movie, but Nick Fury is unpredictable what ever universe he's in.

I know! I thought it was a bit of a douche move as well; maybe it was supposed to be a segue into 'We'll tell everyone Tony Stark ISN'T Iron Man, and say it's a bodyguard now instead!' but this story is playing off the notion that it was just Nick being a bit of an ass. Initially, at least.

I liked it a lot!
If you don't mind a bit of concrit, Immediately Post Iron Man 2 throws me a bit out of story, it's clear from the context that it's after Iron Man 2, so you don't have to mention it specifically.
Also, Stane, not Stain and Romanoff, not Romanov.
Other than that I've been dying for an epic set after Iron Man 2 ever since I've seen it! I hope you'll keep on writing!

Natalia Alianovna Romanova is the Black Widow's actual name. Natasha Romanoff is one of the alias' she's gone by over the years. Romanov could really just be a typo error.

I haven't seen Iron Man 2 yet (*gasps*), but I'm actually going to go like, *right now* and be amazed by Robert Downy Jr. and the like; expect me back here in a few hours to read/flail happily at your writing this! :)
